Premiere degustation de truffes. Excellentes saveurs. Nous en gardons un bon souvenir... :p

What a find! We were 2 families (with a kid each) and we all fall in love with this restaurant. This is a small place which really cares about your food and your experience. There are many good tables in Dordogne region, but this one was definitely the best selection we found during our trip. Each course, traditional regional cuisine using local delicacies of the season, was beautifully presented. The Décor and atmosphere was charming with a touch of class, exactly what we expected for a great restaurant in this region. Now we have found it, we will be returning next time we are in the area. Divine food, reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel; our every comfort accounted for. Each of our 5 different menus were well balanced, delicious constructed by our wonderful hostess. The Foie Gras was exceptional. Well worth an exteneded stay to enjoy the hotel and good walks from the village. We would thoroughly recommend the Maison des Chanoines for a relaxing break.

Annemarie en Marjan Bilthoven; NL Warm welcome even when soaked cycling through France - diner and breakfast were excellent; strongly recommended

So very typically French, excellent hospitality very friendly and obliging individual service. The cuisine should have three star rating! Hope to visit many more times in the future.
